I have always belonged to places that refused to keep me.
The ocean knows my name even though I have never stayed long enough to become part of its shoreline.
There is sea salt in my veins—
proof that some people are born carrying tides instead of certainty.
I arrive. I love. I leave pieces of myself behind like shells in the sand, hoping someone will hear the echo I left inside them.
The waves have taught me that breaking is not the opposite of strength.
It is simply another way to return to yourself.
So if you find me standing where the water meets the sky,
don’t ask me why I keep coming back.
Some hearts were never meant to live too far from the tide.
