At the bottom
of every affidavit
is a promise.
I make this affidavit
bona fide.
In good faith.
Funny how
good faith
has to be written down.
Because mine
was never in the signature.
It was
every parenting course,
every meeting,
every requirement,
every document,
every phone call,
every supervised visit,
every morning
I got up
and did it again.
Not because
a judge asked me to.
Because my children
were waiting
for me
to come home to them.
